Police are searching for the person who is responsible for breaking into the home of Cedar Bluff Mayor Tammy Crane on Friday afternoon.

Mayor Crane said that someone came through the front door of her home on County Road 131 sometime between noon and 3:30 Friday afternoon – the thieves busted the glass out of a gun cabinet and stole a number of firearms, no one was at home at the time of the incident.

A reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible – if have any information regarding the case, you are asked to call Cedar Bluff Police Investigators.

Remember you do not have to give your name and all information will remain strictly confidential.

This makes the 2nd burglary in the Cedar Bluff area in less than a week, earlier in the week thieves broke into a home on Highway 68 and took a number of items from that location.
