Cherokee County authorities arrested four people on drug, and illegal hunting, charges late Monday.
Penny Jarrells O’Dell, age 43 of Piedmont; Dustin Cecil Vaughn, 25 of Piedmont and William Emerson Toney, age 28 of Hokes Bluff were each charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Hunting without a Permit at Night, Hunting after Dark, and Hunting from a Public Roadway;
Sherman Scott Kiser, 38 of Gadsden, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Hunting without a Permit at Night, Hunting after Dark and Hunting from a Public Roadway.
All were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center between 9:00pm and midnight where they remain awaiting setting of bond.
