A local musician will be given the opportunity to fulfill her dreams when she auditions for NBC’s The Voice in Atlanta coming up on February 15.

16 year old Payton Sells, a Junior at Collinsville High School, has been performing all her life, having competed in several different venues including, the Colgate Country Showdown and the Alabama State Competition where she was awarded Most Promising Female Vocalist.

Sells also competed nationally at the American Country Music Association in Piegon Forge, TN where she received National Female Vocalist of the Year.

Sells says that it is a great honor to have been able to perform in and around DeKalb County and surrounding areas and thanks her friends, family and fans for continued support.
