A Cherokee County woman is currently facing multiple drug charges following her arrest over the weekend.

Lisa Marie Bishop, age 48 of Centre, was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with five counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 3rd Degree.

She was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 3:30pm, where she remains awaiting setting of bond.
