Mrs. Betty Burrows

Mrs. Betty Burrows, age 83 of Centre passed away Wednesday January 7th at Cherokee Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday January 10th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM.

Pallbearers include Michael Culberson, Jason Culberson, Tony Culberson, B.J. Culberson, Jacob McNabb and Adam McNabb.

Survivors include sons, Ken Culberson of Carrollton, Ga., Tony Culberson of Haleyville, Al., Michael Culberson of Centre and Jerry Culberson of Centre: brothers, Edison, Edward, Sam and Virgil: sisters, Dean, Wanda, Allene, Joy and Linda: 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Wanda Culberson, brothers, R.W. and Aaron.

Mrs. Burrows was a native of Eligay, Ga., the daughter of the late Woodrow and Myrtle Garland Stover, was a textile worker for 30 years, enjoyed singing Gospel music in her early years and was a member of the Church Of God.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Indigent Care Fund at Cherokee County Health & Rehab.
