Cherokee County Authorities Arrest Four on Drug Charges Monday

Cherokee County authorities arrested four individuals – three from Cherokee County and one from DeKalb – on drug charges Monday.

Joshua Allan McClellan, age 26 of Cedar Bluff, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, along with Failure to Appear on the prior charges of Expired Tag, No Insurance and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 11:00pm.

Gabrielle Lane Wells, age 40 from Ft Payne and Eric Daniel Bone, age 22 of Gaylesville were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; both were booked into jail between 9:00 and 10:00pm.

And

Carrie Marie Shropshire, age 36 from Centre, was charged with Distribution of a Controlled Substance; she was booked in just before 11:00am.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website – all four remain in the Detention Center at this time.
