Reports have now been released regarding a Friday shooting incident that left an Anniston woman injured. Authorities say that the 48 year old victim was sitting in her home located in the 400 block of Hilltop Drive around 5:30am when a bullet entered the home and struck her in the leg.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released that same day.
Officers also discovered several other bullet holes inside and outside the home.
