A shooting incident occurring in Anniston on Friday left one man dead and another injured.

According to the Anniston Star – 42 year old Randall Dale Gaddy was fatally injured around 8:00pm; his 19 year old son, Randall Skylar Gaddy, received a gunshot wound to the hand – he was transported to Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

The incident took place in front of a home in the 200 block of Wilmer Avenue and the home -owner, 58 year old Larry Johnson, has been charged with shooting both men.

That incident apparently began with an argument between Johnson and the elder Gaddy – who lived next door.

According to the report at some point Johnson went inside his home and locked the door; it was at that point Gaddy allegedly took cinder blocks and began breaking out windows with Johnson then firing two or three rounds through the front door.

Thus far, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
