Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says a Hokes Bluff man has been arrested in connection to physical abuse of a child.
According to Investigator Haydn Hedgspeth – 28 year old Malcolm Wade Howard of Hokes Bluff, was arrested on December 11, and is currently charged with child abuse, which is a felony.
Howard allegedly physically abused a 4 year old boy leaving a large bruise on the child’s face. He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $25,000 cash.
