A Chattooga County man has been indicted by a Floyd County grand jury – on the charge of murder in connection with the shooting death of 24 year old Dominique Alexander Spear back on September 23rd.

Witnesses say that 20 year old Kyle Timmons of Trion called 9-1-1 himself, and stated that he had shot the victim near Callier Forest Apartments on Dodd Boulevard in Rome.
Timmons then waited for police arrive and was taken into custody; being charged later that day with murder.
