Cherokee County authorities arrested three people on drug charges Sunday.
43 year old Tracy Glover Smith from Piedmont was arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drug Offender/Ephedrine, Hunting from a Public Road, the Illegal Possession of a Pistol, and also with Resisting Arrest.
He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 5:00pm Sunday.
Brett Wade Pippin, age 28 was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was booked into jail shortly after 5:30pm.
And 51 year old Crawford Coleman Kirby, was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was booked in just after 6:00pm – and was released shortly before 8:00 after making his $1,000 bond.
Smith and Pippin remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
