A 58 year old Cave Spring man has been jailed following an alleged assault at a location on King Street in Rome. Lester Owensby Pauley, of a Fannin Street address – stands accused of pointing a gun at a female victim and threatening to kill her if she attempted to leave.
Pauley is also accused of placing his hands around the woman’s neck and both choking and slapping her; according to reports the victim also suffered a laceration to the arm.
