The second suspect charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a Cedar Bluff man is now in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
36 year old Darrell Donzell Burgess was extradited back from Walker County, Georgia, and was booked into jail locally, just after 11:00am Wednesday (October 29th).
The other suspect, 21 year old Jeremiah Jackson, was brought back to Cherokee County on Monday of this week (October 27th).
Jackson and Burgess are each charged with murder in connection with the death of 39 year old Billy Ingram at around 2:30am on Monday, October 20th, at a residence located in the Farill community just north of Cedar Bluff.
The Cherokee County Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and evidence led them to Rossville, Georgia where both suspects were taken into custody later that same day.
