Howell W. Sims, age 74 of Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, October 28th at Cherokee Medical Center.

Survivors include his son, Howell D. Sims of Hokes Bluff; daughter, Sylvia McKineley of Ohatchee; brother, Claud W. Sims of Piedmont; a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Conduff Sims.
Mr. Sims was a native of Alabama, the son of the late Claud D. and Edna Simpson Sims, was a tree surgeon and was of the Baptist faith.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:PM Saturday, November 8th at New Bethel Cemetery in Hokes Bluff, with Tommy Hutt and Billy Fain officiating.
