The Brooke Danielle Band will be performing the songs from their new CD this weekend as part of their official “CD Release Party”.
Brooke was in the WEIS Radio studios Tuesday morning to discuss the event – and the new music, in addition to what the band has been up to:
Brooke is a native of Centre who began singing in church at the age of 8 – releasing her first album in 2012 at the age of 14.
Over the course of her career Brooke has written over 40 songs, with one of those, “Dancin’ in the Rain” – making it into the semi-finals of the International Song Writing Competition.
The new CD was recorded at the Rukkus Room in Nashville – home to many recordings by such artists as Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett and Cassadee Pope from The Voice – and the CD party is open to the public and there is no admission fee:
