DeWayne LaBron Reynolds has been found guilty of felony Murder and also two counts of Aggravated Assault – in connection with the 2012 New Year’s Eve shooting death of Terry Slack.

That decision came down in Floyd County Superior Court last week.

During a taped interview with detectives Reynolds reportedly admitted that he had gone to the home of Slack – along with co-defendants Willie Dublin and Darnell Mitchell – although he insisted that he didn’t know why they were going to Slack’s Kingston Avenue home, only that he was asked to be a “lookout”.

Other witnesses however testified that Reynolds was actually the triggerman using the gun that had allegedly been given to Dublin by his girlfriend.

Dublin and Mitchell will be tried separately.

A sentencing date for Reynolds has yet to be set.
