Residents of Marshall County, DeKalb County and some surrounding areas experienced a massive power outage at around 9:30 Saturday night.
According to the Marshall-DeKalb Electric Company, the issues was from their power supplier, Tennessee Valley Authorities. The outage impacted three different co-ops.
The Marshall-DeKalb Electric Company responded quickly with crews working on the issue to restore the power to the impacted areas.
It is undetermined, at this time, what caused the issue with TVA.
The incident is still under investigation.
