With an anticipated crowd of over 4,000 spectators this year’s Centre Fall Festival was nothing short of a great success – Centre Mayor Tony Wilkie said that for this year every vendor spot for the event was sold out.
In addition to various vendors ranging from food to arts and crafts, there were Disney characters on hand to have pictures made with the kids.
Of course, the main event was the annual parade. The Cherokee County High School Marching band once again led the procession up Main Street.
The Grand Marshal’s this year were volunteer members of the Cherokee County Master Gardeners Club.
The parade also featured classic cars, antique tractors and plenty of horses. Another highlight of Saturday’s event was the annual Centre Fall Festival Fun
Run for kids sponsored by Cherokee Medical Center and TDS Telecom.
