Alabama State Troopers, and other emergency personnel, were dispatched to the scene of a Cherokee County motorcycle accident Wednesday morning.
That call went out at approximately 7:20am, after someone spotted a wrecked motorcycle on County Road 36, but couldn’t locate the driver of the bike. According to the Jacksonville Post of the Alabama State Troopers, the driver of the 2004 Yamaha – 30 year old Cory Ivey, of a Cedar Bluff address – was located shortly thereafter, and was transported to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
