Firefighters from the Cedar Bluff, Centre and Gaylesville departments were dispatched to a report of a mobile home fire at 9915 Alabama Highway 9 North shortly after 9:00am Thursday (August 28th).
It appears that the double-wide mobile home wasn’t occupied, and was actually in the yard waiting to be delivered to another location; one half of the home was completely destroyed with the other half receiving substantial damage.
What caused the fire has yet to be determined.
