Gadsden Police say a 24 year old man has died after walking into a downtown pub and then shooting himself, just after midnight Monday.
Police reports indicate that the man walked into the Blackstone Pub & Eatery, armed with a Springfield XD .357 at around 12:30am.
Witnesses said that the gun jammed twice but the man then managed to fire off two rounds – with the first hitting him in the leg and the second being fired into his head.
The unnamed individual was then rushed to Riverview Regional Medical Center – where he was pronounced dead.
