Mrs. Mildred Mitchell age 93 of Gaylesville passed away Saturday August 16th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday August 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Berry officiating, burial will follow in Union Hill (Needmore) Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Sunday.

Pallbearers include Duane Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Rodney Mitchell, Brent Duff, Seth Duff and Bradley Mitchell, Jonathan Koonce and Scott Shankles. Honorary Pallbearers include Ralph Duff and Charlie Crane.

Survivors include sons, Gary (Anita) Mitchell of Fort Payne and Kim (Shelia) Mitchell of Gaylesville: daughter, Joy (Donnie) Duff of Gaylesville: 9 Grandchildren: 12 Great-Grandchildren: several nieces and nephews and special caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Mitchell and son Duane Mitchell.

Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Cherokee County, Jamestown, Al.: the daughter of the late Oscar Catlett and Etta Parker Campbell, and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
