A three-vehicle wreck which included a DeKalb County school bus has resulted in the arrest of a Henagar man on DUI charges.

According to reports from WAFF TV48, that wreck took place at around 7:15 Tuesday morning on Highway 40 in Henagar at the intersection with Longview Drive.

Police say a truck rear-ended a car, causing the car to bump the school bus – fortunately, none of the children onboard the bus were hurt and the bus continued its route.

A woman inside the car was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

The man driving the truck, identified as 28 year old Pedro Pascual – was placed under arrest and charged with DUI before being taken to the Henagar City Jail.

Police Chief Randall Smith said Pascual would be required to spend at least 24 hours in jail prior to being allowed to post a $1,000 bond.
