An Etowah County woman has been charged with assault after shooting an acquaintance back in July.
According to Etowah County Investigator Bobby Bryant 53 year old Susie Ann Little of a Piedmont address inside Etowah Co., is charged with one count of first degree assault, which is a felony.
The warrant for first degree assault was obtained by the victim on August 4, 2014.
Little admitted she shot a female victim multiple times on July 12, 2014. The women were inside Little’s residence, on Gnatville Road, when they got into a physical altercation after the victim refused to leave the home.
Little was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $5,000 bond.
