Emergency Crews Respond To Two Accidents On Saturday

Emergency crews responded to two separate vehicle accidents involving injuries on Saturday – the first occurring at 8:25am on County Road 14 near Ellisville.

Alabama State Troopers say that 57 year old Patricia Williams of a Piedmont address was injured when her 1998 Ford left the road way and crashed into a tree. Reports indicated that the vehicle rolled over onto Williams.

Paramedics had initially requested a helicopter however due to inclement weather conditions crews were unable to fly.

Williams was transported to an area hospital ambulance – State Troopers continue to investigate that accident.

Just after 4:30 emergency crews in Cedar Bluff responded to a report of a two vehicle accident near H&L Motors just off of Highway 9 – at least one person was transported from the scene with what appeared to be minor injuries
