Rome/Floyd County firefighters responded to two separate fire calls Wednesday afternoon.

The first call – a mobile home fire – was reported on Imogene Circle near Miller Mountain Road, where a camper was situated beside the residence.

Battalion Chief Greg Abbott said it took three engine companies to put the fire out.
Just minutes later firefighters were dispatched to a Chambers Mill Road address in Silver Creek where a wood frame structure was fully involved.
No injuries were reported at either location and both fires remain under investigation.
