Authorities are on the lookout for a man from North Alabama who stands charged with receiving child pornography.

Federal investigators are searching for 28 year old Matthew Harbin of Arab.

He pled guilty back in 2009 to charges of transmitting obscene material to a minor.

Agents say Harbin may be hiding in the northern portion of the state or possible in the southern portion or in Florida. According to WAFF TV48, investigators believe that he may pose a threat to others or may attempt to flee the country to avoid capture.

Harbin stands six-feet-tall, weighs around 200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
