A single-vehicle accident occurring in Chattooga County on Friday afternoon claimed the life of a Menlo woman.
Accident reports indicated that 66 year old Shirley Ledger was traveling on Highway 48 between Fish Hatchery Road and Filter Plant Road when her vehicle left the roadway struck a culvert and overturned.
According to emergency personnel Ledger was ejected from the vehicle.
That accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
