A Gadsden man has been arrested and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
32 year old Ernest JeMichael Sharpe was taken into custody last Friday on the felony charge and he remains in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond; his last registered address was on Fairview Avenue in Gadsden.
Sharpe was convicted in 2009 on a 2nd Degree Rape charge involving a 15 year old girl.
