A Sunday shooting Hobson City, has Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Investigators looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident, which reportedly occurred at a party.
The Anniston Star is reporting that someone began shooting into a group of people gathered at a home near Lincoln and Council Streets at around 3:30am – resulting in a 20 year old party-go’er being shot once in the hip.

He was taken to Regional Medical Center for treatment; the victim told officers he didn’t believe he was the target of the shooting.
