A man wanted by local authorities for manufacturing methamphetamine – was arrested during a traffic stop on the Alabama Highway at Shorter Industrial Boulevard in Rome on Tuesday.
According to records at the Floyd County Jail, 49 year old James Dyer Walters has been charged with being a Fugitive from Justice. Floyd County Police also found drug-related objects – and a quantity of methamphetamine residue at the time of his arrest, resulting in additional charges.
Walters was also charged with a violation of the Open Container Law.
A second arrest was also made.
48 year old Kimberly Marie Conaway was charged with Possession of Meth and with Possession of Drug-related objects.
