A 28-year-old Rome man was shot Saturday night and another man is charged with his murder.
Floyd County Deputy Coroner Ernie Studdard said 28 year old Wreno Dantione Fain was pronounced dead in the Floyd Medical Center emergency room at 2:54 a.m.
According to a jail report, Jamal Nevin Foreman, 25, of an East 14th Street residence (pictured) is charged with murder in connection with his death. The incident happened at Club Lexus, also known as the Lexus Lounge according to the establishment’s Facebook page, located at 109 East Main Street.
Studdard said the body has been taken to the state crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
Rome police have not released a motive for the shooting.
