A Cherokee County man was arrested on drug charges following a high-speed chase taking place Tuesday.
According to information on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, 28 year old Jeremiah Jackson Ellis of a Sand Rock address, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Attempting to Elude.
He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 4:30 Tuesday afternoon and was released Wednesday at around 10:00am after making his $2,000 bond.
