Cherokee County authorities picked up a man on a Fugitive from Justice charge late Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, 52 year old Steve Ray Adderholt of Centre, originally from Chicago, Illinois was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly before 6:00pm.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver told WEIS Radio News Adderholt was picked up on a probation violation out of Floyd County, Georgia.
He is currently awaiting extradition back to Georgia.
