A two-vehicle collision on the bypass in Centre on Wednesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
According to the Centre Police Department accident report that crash took place at 3:15pm and it involved a 2013 Ford F250 driven by Kevin Westmoreland, age 35 of Cartersville, Georgia and a 2008 Ford Taurus being driven by 73 year old Yvonne Salmoni.
The Taurus had to be towed from the scene while Salmoni was transported to Cherokee Medical Center by ambulance; Westmoreland escaped injury.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
