Centre Man Arrested in Connection with Northwest Georgia “Hit and Run” Incident

Hit and Run 1A man involved in a hit and run was drunk and had moonshine in his vehicle, police said in a Floyd County jail report.

The report stated that 46-year-old Timothy Todd Bolton of Centre, Alabama had struck another vehicle from behind and left the scene.

He was stopped at the intersection of Redmond Road and Martha Berry Boulevard. Police said he had 15 ounces of moonshine with him.

Bolton is charged with possession of moonshine, DUI, hit and run an driving with an expired tag.
