The 2014 edition of the So-Cool Summer Program in Cherokee County has come to a close with a special “Patriotic Program” taking place at the National Guard Armory in Centre.

For more than 20 years this popular initiative has offered children an opportunity to have fun and to learn – through a wide variety of activities.

A number of surrounding communities have used the Cherokee County program as a model for and in many cases, a blueprint, for similar programs to be instituted in their areas

The So Cool Summer Program is funded by the Centre Rotary Club, and is supported by the City of Centre and the Cherokee County Commission.
