One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident near the DeKalb/Cherokee County line around 3:00 Monday morning.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post at Jacksonville the accident took place on County Road 83 at the intersection of County Road 74 in DeKalb County, involving a ‘98 Ford Mustang being driven by 28 year old Erica Barnett of a Fyffe address.
Barnett was transported by ambulance to DeKalb Regional for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
