Arrests Made in Connection with Storage Thefts

Two people were arrested after allegedly attempting to steal a number of items from the storage facility located on Piedmont Cutoff Road.

Arrest reports indicated that 31 year old Jesus Aguirre, Jr. and 30 year old Bridget MIddlebrooks were taken into custody in connection with the incident, after someone called law enforcement to report that a number of items were seen sitting outside of a storage unit at around 10:00pm.

Officers saw two people leaving the scene in a white Grand Am – and they soon stopped Aguirre and Middlebrooks at the corner of Hokes Street and Wilbanks Avenue and placed the pair under arrest. Both were charged with burglary and theft of property; Aguirre was additionally charged with giving false information.

Dingler

A third suspect, 38 year old Barry Joseph Dingler was later arrested in connection with the theft and charged with burglary third degree; Gadsden Police stated that he was also charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance – after drugs were found to be in his possession at the time of his arrest.
