Two Collinsville men were arrested on drug charges over the weekend in DeKalb County.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris state that both 26 year old Kenneth Colby Knight and 52 year old Marty Ray Carr were arrested Sunday and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The arrest took place after Drug Task Force Agents and DHR workers were called to a residence on County Road 50 near Collinsville to check on complaints of suspected drug activity – where small children were also present.

Following a consent search, law enforcement officials discovered drugs inside the residence; the children were removed from the home and placed with a family member.
