An Etowah County teenager was struck by a vehicle and fatally injured Friday night.
According to the website al.com, Etowah County Coroner Michael Head said 15 year old Justice Garrett was struck by an SUV just after 8:00pm on Tidmore Bend Road.
She died approximately two hours later at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Authorities say they do not suspect alcohol or foul play to have been a factor – adding that it was simply a tragic accident.
