According to the bid opening during the Board’s April 9th meeting, the Comfort Station bid came from McKinney Construction Company of Centre – while the septic system bid came from Gully Construction.

Board President Scooter Howell stated that $200,000 had been set aside for those upgrades – but the total cost of the two projects came to over $36,000 more than had been allotted.

We asked Crum how the shortfall would be made up:

The Board’s monthly revenue is reportedly between $6.500 and $7,000.
