According to Alabama State Troopers two people were injured in a two vehicle accident in Sand Rock at around 6:00 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Sand Rock Avenue and County Road 11.

31 year old Centre resident April Hancock and the passenger in her 2005 Dodge, 8 year old Natalie Hulsey was treated for injuries after they collided with a 2005 Buick – fortunately the driver of that vehicle escaped injury.

Troopers also say that two people were injured in a one vehicle accident taking place on County Road 22 in Centre in the early morning hours of Saturday.

23 year old Celeste Seaman of Piedmont and 1 year old Gage Remington were both injured when their 2001 Nissan left the roadway at around 2:15 that morning

Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
