According to a post on Piedmont Rescue’s Facebook page, Paramedic Jon McDowell has passed away of natural causes.
The post reads –
“It is with great sadness that we report that Piedmont Rescue suffered a major blow in the loss of our fellow brother Paramedic Jon McDowell. Jon died in his sleep from natural causes. We will keep everyone updated with arrangements and such as we find them out. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers”
Piedmont Rescue will be holding a vigil for Jon on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Rescue Squad building. Anyone that would like to attend is more than welcome.
