Ex-Deputy Indicted by Cherokee County Grand Jury on Theft of Property Charges

CCSO - PackA former employee of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, 41 year old Kneeley Brinston Pack, now residing in Ft Payne, has been indicted by a grand jury on one count of Theft of Property 1st Degree/Home Repair Fraud/Forgery and one count of Theft of Property 1st Degree/Residential.

Pack was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 1:00pm Monday, with his bond set at $50,000.  He bonded out approximately an hour-and-a-half later.

Pack was also arrested in Ft Payne on February 21st – after being indicted on charges of Theft by Deception and Home Repair Fraud.

In addition to the three counts of First Degree Theft by Deception and one misdemeanor count of Second Degree Home Repair Fraud – Pack was charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree with his bond being set at $50,000.  He had bonded out by the following Monday.

In addition to serving as a Constable for DeKalb County, Kneeley Pack is also the owner of Pack & Son Construction.

He left the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office several years ago.
