A Boaz woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle crash in Etowah County Monday evening.
That accident took place on Sand Valley Road at 6:00pm, and involved a 1997 Ford being driven by 25 year old Brandon Roach of Boaz, who was injured in the wreck; the passenger, 24 year old Joanie Patterson was fatally injured in the crash.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
