Cherokee Medical Center has recently announced the annual employee of year awards to several staff members.

Carole Farris, RN, of the Case Management Department, is the employee of the year at the hospital.  Carol has worked for CMC for nearly 22 years.  She displays a great desire to ensure that all requirements are met.   Many changes have taken place in Case Management requirements.  Carole makes it a priority to educate herself on these changes so that she can be sure our hospital is compliant and our patients remain our focus.

Traci Whestine, RN, was named Clinical Manager of the year for CMC.  Traci administers, directs and coordinates activities for the Patient Care Administration.  Traci has been working at CMC for almost 25 years. In her spare time, Traci coordinates the Autism Walk to raise money to fund Autism awareness in honor of her son, Lance.

Helen Walker, Dietary Director, was named Non Clinical Manager of the Year for Cherokee Medical Center.  Helen oversees all of the meals prepared for patients and visitors and guests.  She has worked for CMC for nearly 40 years.  Helen is very active in her church.
