Rome Men Arrested On Federal Weapons/Explosives Charges

Three Rome men are in custody on federal firearms and explosive charges.

The suspects are identified as 45-year old Terry Eugene Peace, 36-year old Brian Edward Cannon and 28-year old Cory Williamson.

Cannon is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah while Williamson is originally from Pennsylvania.

According to information from the FBI, the arrests follow an operation in the Cartersville and Rome, Georgia area that included the FBI SWAT, Floyd County and Rome Police as well as Bartow County authorities.

A federal search warrant is currently underway.

More charges are anticipated and additional details will be made available in the next few days as this matter moves into the court system.
