Since coming on-board as the new Director of the Cherokee County Public Library Elaine Henry has taken a very proactive approach to making the library an interesting and entertaining place to visit.
Ms. Henry took over the position in March of last year (2013), and has since strived to create and implement a variety of programs for the public – designed with something in mind for everyone.
The library is currently offering genealogy classes, art classes, “storytime” programs and more
Due to popular demand the library has also lined up several authors to visit in the coming months
The library will also be hosting another “Affordable Care Act” workshop, that will offer valuable information on navigating the health care website and learning about the choices available.
The workshop will be conducted by Jeff Nelson and will take place on Friday, January 31st from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the library – 310 Mary Street in Centre.
