WEIS Radio welcomed Marcia Sewell, the Principal at Centre Middle School, and Leigh Bailey, a Title 1 Teacher at the school – into the studios Wednesday morning (January 22nd) to discuss a very special event.

On Saturday, February 1st Centre Middle School will host “Gala at 1920 East Main”, which is an evening of live jazz music and dancing with dinner and a silent auction.

The silent auction begins at 5:00pm with dinner to be served at 6:00. Tickets are $15.00 each and can be purchased at the school office.

All proceeds will go toward the school’s “Fund the Field” project.

That “on-air radio experience” will consist of a day here at WEIS Radio – with the winner filling roles ranging from DJ to News Reporter to possibly even…making coffee.
